Club Profile
The Club started up in Ranfurly in 1976 and became affiliated to New Zealand Bridge in 1979. One of the founding members still lives in the district and plays regularly. As many clubs do, it started as a group of locals playing in one another’s homes, but as numbers grew it was decided to form a club, playing in a permanent location. They played for 30 years at the Golf Club which was also big enough to hold their tournaments. They subsequently moved to the current venue in the Wallace Memorial Room. Although small, the Club has a reputation as being lively, friendly and very welcoming to visitors. In line with our club's new policy, a current My Vaccine Pass needs to be shown on arrival.
